Problem Statement

Using a traditional lock-key system fails to make the user feel secure about their belonging. Older people and specially abled user find it extremely difficult to remember the status and work around the key.

To design simple, affordable means of ensuring your home is secure, and providing peace of mind to those who regularly forget to lock their doors.

Locked

Status of the lock, i.e. locked or unlocked is indicated by patterns of dots. These are raised dots that can felt with the fingertips, thus making is usable for blind people.

The key attaches with the lock with neodymium magnets to snap into place.

The light in the lock illuminates when it senses motion to help the positioning of key and its operation in dark

Number stickers that come with the key can help you assign your keys according to the personal environment. i.e. 1 for the main gate, 2 for the 2nd door. The numbers are raised and can be felt by the fingerprints to identify the right key.

Keys are stackable. For commercial use, they can be color coded to assign different sections to different sets.
